Our hazelnut programme in Chile
Agribusiness Development Chile
In 1991, we established our first Agrifarm in Chile. Since then, a complete value chain (from hazelnut farming to processing) has been created. Through our Agribusiness Development programme in Chile we share sustainable practices with hazelnut farmers.
We work with partners to improve and develop the sector. For example, we partner with several universities in Chile to develop knowledge in hazelnut cultivation to support farmers, and train young people who are interested in a career in agriculture.
We have achieved full traceability of the hazelnuts we source in Chile and our farm has been certified under the Sustainably Grown standard.
